Check the turns per day (TPD) and winding direction your watch manufacturer recommends for its movement. Halform Winder has four programs: 650 TPD and 900 TPD for bidirectional movements, and 1,300 TPD and 1,600 TPD for movements that wind in one direction (about 650 and 800 winding turns per day). The user manual explains how to select a program.

Yes. The 650 and 900 TPD programs suit bidirectional movements, and the 1,300 and 1,600 TPD programs suit movements that wind clockwise or counter-clockwise only. The winder alternates direction automatically, so you only choose the turns-per-day setting.

Yes. Halform Winder is made to be very quiet. As long as you are at least 0.5 m away from it, you should not be able to hear any obvious noise.

As long as you follow your watch manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations and choose the right TPD setting, the increase in wear will be reasonable.

Halform takes many precautions in its winding recipe to reduce wear. For example, it alternates direction regularly, and it turns in bursts to leave rest periods for the watch, simulating average wrist movement throughout the day.

Yes. We can make the stitching and the carbon fibre fill in a custom colour, change the faux suede colour, and change the engraving on the carbon fibre front face.
