Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Halform collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you browse, place an order, create an account, request support, or join an email list, we may collect information such as your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone number, order details, account details, support messages, IP address, and browser or device information.

WooCommerce cookies and similar technologies remember your cart, preserve your session, support account security, and help the store function correctly. These essential cookies are always active because the store cannot work without them.

Cookies and analytics

With your permission, Halform uses the following tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it:

  • Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, measures visits, pages viewed, how visitors found the site, and shopping steps such as adding to cart, starting checkout, and completing a purchase.
  • Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation, records how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling, and session replays, to show where the site is confusing or hard to use. Clarity masks what you type into form fields.
  • WooCommerce order attribution remembers how you arrived at the site, such as from a search engine, social media, or a direct visit, and links that source to your order.

These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser details, approximate location, and the pages you visit. They do not receive your name, email address, or payment details.

They stay off until you click Accept in the cookie notice. If you click Refuse or make no choice, no analytics cookies are stored on your device and these tools cannot recognize you from one page or visit to the next. Google and Microsoft may still receive limited page information without cookies, which is used only to estimate overall traffic. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for six months.

Google and Microsoft are based in the United States, so this information is processed outside Quebec and Canada. Their privacy policies are available at policies.google.com and privacy.microsoft.com.

How we use information

  • Process payments, orders, taxes, shipping, returns, and warranty requests.
  • Provide product support and communicate about an order.
  • Maintain account, transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and security records.
  • Improve the store, diagnose technical problems, and protect Halform and its customers.
  • Send product-release or brand emails only where the required consent or another lawful basis exists.

Payments and service providers

Payment information is transmitted to the payment provider selected at checkout. The Halform website is not designed to store complete payment-card numbers. We may share only the information reasonably required with providers that support hosting, payment processing, shipping, email delivery, fraud prevention, analytics, and customer service.

Some providers may process information outside your province, state, or country. Information processed elsewhere may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Retention and safeguards

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, support, tax, accounting, warranty, dispute, and legal obligations. Halform uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to or correction of personal information, ask questions about its use, or request deletion where applicable law permits. Marketing emails will include a way to unsubscribe. Certain transaction and legal records may need to be retained even after an account or marketing subscription is closed.
